Work with the AI Steward
Status reports, gate reviews, gaps in the plan and questions about your project. It proposes; you approve.
The AI Steward reads the project's live plan, schedule, earned value, risks, decisions, team and activity, and advises you. It never changes the plan itself: the tasks and risks it proposes wait until a project manager approves them.
Open a project and choose the AI Steward tab.
| Tool | What you get |
|---|---|
| Status report | A one-minute sponsor update: a rating of on track, at risk or off track, highlights, concerns and next steps. |
| Gate review | An assessor-style check of whether the project can leave its phase: pass, pass with conditions or hold, with strengths and conditions tied to ICB4. |
| Gaps in the plan | Tasks and risks a competent project manager would expect but the plan doesn't have yet, each added as a suggestion. |
| Ask the Steward | Answers about the schedule, risks, stakeholders or what to do next, from this project's data. |
Approve or dismiss suggestions
Suggestions waiting for approval lists every proposed task, risk or date change, including those from GitHub and Telegram. Approve adds it to the plan through the normal rules; Dismiss removes it.
AI actions
Each run of the Steward is one AI action: a report, a review, a gap check, an answer, a coaching plan or a lab assessment. The tab shows how many your workspace has used this month. Failed runs don't count.
Getting better answers
- Keep the plan current first: % complete, risk status and decisions are what the Steward reasons from.
- Ask for a specific output: "Talking points for Thursday's steering committee".
- Check its figures against the Tasks and Gantt tabs before you send anything to a sponsor.
During the beta, try the Steward on sample projects rather than client data.
