Connect Telegram and GitHub
Let the team update tasks from Telegram, and let GitHub issues move task progress.
Open a project and choose the Integrations tab. Integrations are part of the Pro and Team plans.
Telegram: link yourself
Click Link my Telegram and open the link in Telegram within 15 minutes. Each person links their own account.
Telegram: link a project group
- 1
Add the Project 14 bot to the team's Telegram group.
- 2
Send /link in the group. The bot posts a code.
- 3
A project manager enters the code under Project groups within 15 minutes.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| /status | Phase, progress, SPI and CPI, the next milestone and top risks |
| /tasks | Your open tasks |
| /done 12 | Marks task 12 done |
| /progress 12 60 | Sets task 12 to 60% |
| /blocked 12 reason | Flags a blocker and tells the project manager |
| /risk text | Raises a risk for the project manager to confirm |
| /approvals | Project managers: approve or dismiss proposals with one tap |
Project managers who linked Telegram get a morning digest of open high risks, milestones forecast late and overdue tasks.
GitHub
- 1
Click Connect GitHub and install the app on your account or organisation.
- 2
Choose Show repositories, pick one and click Follow.
- 3
Under Task links, choose how each task follows GitHub: Manual, Milestone, or Label, which counts issues labelled mizan:<task number>.
Closed issues move the linked task's progress. A milestone date moved in GitHub arrives as a proposed date change, and an issue labelled risk arrives as a draft risk, both waiting for a project manager.
